In order for us to reach the Paris Agreement, we in the west need to change a lot of our old habits. One of them is to change our eating habits to a more sustainable model, with more plant-based proteins, whole grains, and fruits and vegetables. To help this transition, the Electrolux Innovation Hub created GRO, a reimagined kitchen for a more sustainable eating. To help with the launch, they asked us to create a film showcasing the new kitchens features.
I worked together with a 3D-designer to create the visual look for the project, creating something that not just showed the smartness of the kitchen, but also how it visually could fit into your home. In addition to help setting the style and look of scenes in the film, I also developed the graphical overlay style, used both when visualizing how we need to change our eating habits in the future, as well as how the smart and connected kitchen’s user interface guides the user through that transition.
